outdoor car cover

im in desperate need for a cover for my car as its kept outside. where can i get one of good quality and not costing the earth. swlc do one but its a indoor cover.
any ideas would be great or if anyone has one they dont use even better

If its outside all the time and not under cover then I would say heavy duty due to how wet our weather can be

Depends on how you use it.
Main issue is that the heavy duty waterproof ones need the car to be completely dry before putting the cover on. So probably best for if you store it outside, but (say) don't use it very often during the winter.

The lightweight breathable ones can be put on when the car is still wet - useful if you use the car pretty regularly.

I also believe that the custom covers are only available in lightweight breathable.

I have a lightweight breathable custom one for the R32GTR, and it certainly fits very well, and works well also for regular use.

Ah, thats the same type of cover i have for mine. wasn't sure it coulbe be left out in the rain. Glad to here it can.

My Quattro and M400 live under them. The Noble one comes with tailor made "socks" to put over the wing ends to stop it rubbing through.

They can also be easily but securely locked to the car.

Best there is IMHO.

Hi Conrad, yes, that's what they say but avoid this! Depending on what contaminants are present in the (rain?) water paintwork can be permanently marked. Always dry off or, if you can't, leave in the air wet.

the cover company do not do the stormproof for the noble the next suitable cover with them is 370 quid.
wont be going there. the other company posted does a stormproof one for 170 so i think il have that one

If that's the Cover-Zone stormforce my Noble seems very happy under it.

Two small things is that it doesn't look like it fits very well until you get it sorted back-front and pull the ties underneath taught - it then seems to sit just fine.

Second is that rain water collects in the intercooler inlet, so make sure you just pull the back to let it run off after a big storm.
