The rear clam on my 3R needs to move back as to tight next to body when shut. How do i do this i can adjust hight up but not move back.

I think all the "adjustment" type answers need to go into a Wiki of some sort.

i.e.
Mirror adjustment
Door height
Window height
Front and rear clam
Fuel cap

I dont think it is adjustable as the pin positions are dicated by the rear clip, but there is a little bit of play on the pins and the 1/4 turn clips, so you do have a small tolerance. Put a foam strip where the clam is touching the tub, Dynaliner 3mm thick, the clam will naturally be forced back slightly or you can pack out the 1/4 turn clips by a couple of mm which will also push it back.

If you look carefully, the brackets that the pins are on slide.
