It's a [not very good?] pun that translates to "eat my dust", well, at least Google Translate says it does, and we all know that's correct....

I just bought one of these short sleeved shirts, very good quality, Peter smith told me what the translation was but i have forgotten, not sure he said "eat my dust" though.

Think it's a bit of a mish mash,The latin means more like walk/ride my dust but "Eat My Dust" comes from various stuff like the 1976 film starring Ron Howard

Having gone to a Grammar school, I seem to recall that pulvis is rarely used for dust anyway, it's more used to describe the old arena's/scene of the action, so it's pretty meaningless.

Mind you, I think it probably nicely sums up Noble nowadays.

It's so long since I went to school I can't remember much but it makes you wonder if Noble learnt their Latin from the Life of Brian script
