To save yourself alot if Agro. Just take the wishbone off and press it out. The new balljoints Areca little too big so you have to take about 2 mm of the edge. I got mine from petersmith sports. About 20 quid if I remember rightly.

Simon, I get mine via a motor factors the front bottom ones are Firstline part No FIR FBJ5030, top ones QH part No QH QSJ1060S.
The bottom ones will need the edge grinding off to get them to fit into the lower arm but as far as i'm aware the other makes are the same.

Do we know if this is the same for all models?

These should be correct for GTO / GTO3 & early 3R, later 3R's & M400 will have a different top ball joint but possibly the same bottom but i'm not certain.

Simon,
Top front and rear 3R ball joints are from a Peugeot or Citreon and are the "C" type ( as you look at them from the top they have four slots cutout just below the rubber cover ). Available from all good motorfactors Quinton hazel part no QSJ1184S (I paid £7.49 ea + vat.)

Bottom front 3R ball joints are from Mk1 Vauxhall Cavalier which fits in with the firstline part no mentioned above.

Matty.
