Looks like I'm going to have to sort a new one too my only concern is the noble is quite a quick rack , wonder if the ford rack is modified over STD ???

I asked the same question earlier this year and was told the rack is from a scorpio, but it's not! I had the poor guys at my local parts store order in almost every ford rack ever made and they were all different. So I sent it of for a re-con for about £120 and it came back pretty good, also a lot cheaper than buying one from noble. smile While it was being worked on I asked what car it was off and the guy didn't have a clue, he said it didn't match anything he had in stock or anything he's seen. My car is a GTO3 but maybe some have different racks?

GTO / GTO3 / 3R / M400 all use the same rack (Even possibly the M600 !)

Everything is fine thanks Gray just my mechanic was saying that there were a few bits on it looking worn and wanted to know what the rack was off, apart from that everything is dandy although I still need to book her into yellowshed for a little tune up smash

Ye same here, i ordered some new ball joints on Thursday and they arrived in Cyprus Monday morning, very speedy service from Peter smith, they are very helpful and have a good online shop, they also have new coil springs available now which are worth checking out.
With regards to the steering rack, they are the same on all models but on the later ones the turning circle was improved and there are some plastic stops on the end which you must remember to swap over from your old steering rack.
