Anyone know what the spec is for the springs on a 3R?

I would like to get some replacements as mins are looking a bit corroded.

Thanks

I am happy with a direct replacement.

You've seen me drive. I don't push the car enough to warrant an upgrade.

Try having a chat to John at Black Art Designs (BAD Suspension 01371 856777) a mine of info on suspension (he's done a few Nobles) and supplies Eibach springs. Prices are reasonable too.

Just had my front dampers refurbed, and a new set of rears from him. Very pleased with the result.

You could just have the springs shot blasted and powdercoated - just did all 4 of mine for £60.

About £800 all up.

From BAD - front shock refurb was £75 plus £10 per shock for gas valve install.
New shocks for rear (Pro Series 40mm coil over) were £280 each.

John at BAD as a whole series of different options based on what you want to use the car for , so well worth giving him a ring - he's very helpful, and extremely knowlegable.

I had a local powdercoater shotblast and coat the springs and they charged me £60 for the lot.

Also renewed all the nut's and bolts from a local fastners, came to about £5.50, then wanted some replacemnt bottom shock bolts bolts (fine threaded UNF!) and 6 coarse threaded nylocs which no-one seemed to be able to supply - eventually got them from Noble via Kerridges - £32 !!!!!!!!!!!!!mad

I recently got a set of the eibach springs from Noble about £60 each, i was suprised at how light they were compared to the old springs.

Yep I'm gettting John to do me a set of remote canister multiway adjustables during the winter, if I can work out where to put the rear canisters out of harms way but still be accessable !

Get him to put long hoses on them so you can get the canisters inside the engine bay, while you're at it make sure the hoses are put on handed, when he made my shock for the Renault he got this wrong and it was a pain to sort out.
