Yep watched that the other day as I think you had it on another thread. Think you need to have more view than driver/passenger though.

I had made up a bracket that attached to the harness poins:

Hi Martin, not put it on any other thread but was my first time using the go-pro HD, I didnt realize the aspect ratio was set wrong, have worked out how to use it now lol. It comes with loads of fixings i was trying out the suction pad on the rear window, when set wide angle with zoom it gives a much better view through the screen like you said more of the track not the interior. smile

Ha ha, must of been one of the ones I watched on you tube the other day, think I have subscibed to your channel. lol

Is that the Hero Pro you are refering to. I have it for the rear view. Its very good but when outside the cold can have an effect so make sure you get the best batteries.

Yes the hero HD great little cam once you learn how to use it lol. Bought mine direct from go-pro usa so got a good deal with the 16g mem and the lithium bats, have just done the firmware upgrade online so now you can film with the cam upside down and it plays the righr way up and allows a live feed.

Mines not HD its the original, can that be upgraded? i could always set the view direction thought, If i was mounting it upside down then I could reverse the settings?

Yes go to the go-pro site and click support there you will see both upgrades one for HD and the other for wide angle its called firmware, I tried to put the link here but it didnt work.
