Auxiliary Switch

Can someone tell me what the auxiliary switch is for that's on my center console. Mine doesn't light up, so I'm guessing it's not connected, but is this for the.. Ahemmm "parking sensors"?

does nothing but some people have wired it up to be a high/low boost switch

I've got 2 switches on my console, 1 is labelled as Rear Fog Light (switch in the top left) and the other (middle right of the console) has no label, but the owners manual just says it is an Auxiliary Switch.
I like the idea of switching between different engine maps, that is pretty smooth

mine also lights up, i have no idea what it does (i was saving it in case i needed to jump an oncoming car or something)
