Turbo advice

Is there any recommendation Re: turbos and switching off the engine?

Should I wait before switching off the engine and if so how long?

Just drive it normally for the last couple of miles of your journey.

Cool down lap should be enough, otherwise let it idle for a couple of mins before switching engine off (but don't sit on brake pedal or use handbrake!)

if you have just given it a spanking - wait for the fans to kick in and off again

you can be sure any excess heat has been removed from the cooling system
