WD40 is mainly made up of solvent and will evaporate and is not good at preventing corosion.
You need to find a good anti-corrosion spray, I use a Chemsaerch product called LRA120 it's a penatrating lubricant and contains silcone and PTFE.

Hi stefano
Yes you can spray LRA120 everyware, it's almost clear after you have sprayed it on.
You can't spray this on your engine or your exhaust system, mainley spray this on your chassis, suspension Etc. also locks and hinges.
I will let you have details how to get this tomorrow night.

A set of these really help prevent flat spotting the tyres whilst putting the car away through the winter as the contact patch is spread.
Cheers,
Ian
Hi Ian Cheers,
Ian
good idea , i didn't know the tyres flat spotted !! By the way very nice looking car, how did you get 460 bhp ?
stefano
The BHP comes from an M400 engine installed from new. Then upgrade Pace Intercooler, Rousch exhaust, hard pipe kit, fuel pump etc, with the help of Jetstream (fitting and plumbing) and Trevor Jasper (Remap guru) to work his magic, the fnal figure was 460.8 bhp and 426 ft/pound torque. Love it.
Cheers,
Ian

they will flat spot.......until they get warm.
Hi Ian,So once warm the flat spots / vibrations disappear?
Only my car is tucked away already.... and its 110 miles away from my home :-(
Will be back to it in January, do I need to worry about the tyres before then?
Cheers
Al
My experience comes from leaving the car standing for a few months on P Zero Corsa tyres on the floor. There was s small vibration from the tyres which went away after the tyres warmed up and centrifugal force helped iron out the flat spot.
I know from helping out with the Ford WRC Team that when they leave the cars in Parc Ferme overnight even with gravel tyres, they put on an old set for overnight, then a fresh set to start each day at service. Because if they put a new set of tyres on the car, left it overnight, there would be a noticeable flat spot on the tyres.
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Ian.
