red 3r for sale in ireland
Discussion
i agree i to noticed rear difuser not right also spoiler different no front splitter ?why maybe i will give the guy a ring i did email but the guy emailed me back saying it is his brothers car and he doesnt have a pistonheads account and i can call him if i need info i am just a suspicious and its a long way to go to find the car not as described thanks for all your input guys
I phoned him up a couple of days ago and had a good chat, although i too noticed the odd bits you've said about i thought i'd find out more as i'm looking at getting a 3r. I was told it's cat c or d and had a full strip down and respray in ferrari red, not monza red, and the only visible damage is on the sill? He was going to send me photos but i've since emailed him twice and still nothing??? Also no 3r badge on side of clam which i guess is a replacement one due to the headlight colour.
I think it depends on what you want, if the damage was light and there's photos to prove it then there's nothing wrong with buying a damaged car as long as it's been repaired correctly and you get it for the right money. Such a shame as that is exactly the colour combo i'm looking for, basically the 3r version of my 3!

i agree if he had put it in the advert and had pics info of repair it wouldnt be so bad as long as the damage wasnt to bad i.e chasis damage also i think it will be hard to sell in the future if you needed to anyway i am still after noble but want black or grey if anyone is thinking off selling let me know cheers sean

hi metalman how about the one on autotrader for 30k which has had stage 5 upgrade looks similar to yours!!!
I have been tempted by that one and have almost phoned up to view the car but the milage is higher than i would like and i'm not sure if i like the interior or not? I know i'm being fussy but when i do buy the next one i want it to be right! It does look good though!

It's not for sale any longer.Because I brought it! Sorry :-)
Just to get the thread back on track! Where a car is being sold on behalf of someone else, IMO there are grounds for caution - although it could be quite legitimate. If a seller in the UK claims to be unable to use the internet and therefore the email facility, I think alarm bells should start ringing, although I accept that there are remote parts of the UK that have no internet service. Are there any Noble owners in NI who could cast a technical eye over this car? It may be a bargain, but it will carry its insurance accident history with it for the rest of its life and therefore probably never achieve market value in any sale for the foreseeable future.

Hey Guys,I am based in northern ireland. I cannot say i am any technical genious, but I could go down and take it for a drive on behalf of anyone and see if I could get my friend who is a mechanic to come with me if it wasnt too far away.
Infact if it was fine i would near sell my little 2.5 and go for this 3r
