fuse box access

feel stupid asking this question but need to access the fuse box, taken two screws from underneath the dash and one near the floor or passenger footwell. i can lift the pannel an inch or so then it wont budge!

hi ian there shud be a pull loop at top right corner if same as mine hope this helps

no sign of any pull rope im afraid

there is a hole behind the cd player but the panel feels connected in the bottom left corner.

i cant pull the pannel becuase there is well over an inch overlay between the fuse panel and dashboard.

does the panel lift?

The flat upright panel that your lovely passengers feet will rest against... should just fall forward if you can get a finger behind it or wedge something in the top between it and the plastic dash part to pull it forward. It shouldnt be overlapping anything. If it is try pulling forward from the base.

There is normally a material looped strap there in the top corner but maybe the previous owner tucked it away or removed it.
