Hi all.
how do you stop the bracket on the exhaust from breaking. Fed up with having it welded. Is there a mod for this or can you just remove it?

try using jubilee clips over the rubbers that hold the back box on as when they get warm they expand and put a point load on to remaining bracket it may work its a tvr trick done it to my nobe soon as i got it

Here's a fix from some time ago that worked very well:

(see post #2)

Heavier steel bracket material turned to take better advantage of geometric stiffness.

Buy a proper exhaust. You won't regret it.

strangely mine never broke off in all the miles... is it possible its fitted under a little stress or an engine mount is worn giving excess movement?
I know its a common issue but some never break so has to be a reason?
