what is the various opinions on the oil catch tank top breather looping back into the air intake pie that connects to the turbo at the front as thinking on taking this out and filtering at the top of the catch tank instead as i feel this may be a better option any one done this

The STD steel oil catch tank us awful , it's steel and rust like hell then all the crap drops back into the sump !!! Pro alloy do a lovely alloy rank that breathes to the atmoss !! Have a look at website .

hi tux shud have said in my first post ive copyed the original catch tank but made it up in stainless steel and heat treated it to give it a bluey silver look so i have no worries on corosion aspect but i will have a look at pro alloy to see how they vent as my first attemp at filtering failed and the car wouldnt rev it seems to need the draw of air to run properly

The pro alloy one just vents to atmos and they supply a bung for the old air inlet , your tank sounds nice !!!

cheers for the info i will take a pic of the tank and post a pic im planning on doing the power stering resvoir and water header and engine mounts the same as my engine is rigid mounted not on rubbers will be something diffrent by the way your car looks impressive with the wrap the lads who did it seem good lads i had awander round auto sport show on set up night with them

Stainless steel, elettrical/acid polished.
With inner 1.5 meters long spin dryer.

the previous pics show what im trying to achive but when i set up like this my car wont run over 2500 revs as though its run out of petrol or similar ????
