What not to do with your keys
Discussion
I was out tonight working on the old track Beemer and had a slightly hysterical call from the missus saying that the kitchen had caught fire.
I stayed a while to flat some more paintwork ready for paint and then headed home to check out the mini flameout.
It didn't turn out too bad just one kitchen unit gone and smoke damage on the ceiling which will have to go but amongst the burnt plastic I found this.

The spare keys with the alarm fob was completely melted but the normal set was just a bit black and charred and they still work whew!
Alls good and I can relax now

Yeah quite lucky really, It looks like a camocorder of mine just decided to self destruct.
The cupboard had a couple of phones, others car keys, psp etc in there but the camcorder was major melted.
The missus was chilling out in the lounge with friends when the smoke alarm went off and she found the flames already lapping up the ceiling.... scary thing is on the shelf above was a can of my lighter fuel for my Zippo which was blackened but didn't go up.
The other scary thing is that my missus was then off to bed when a friend rang and asked to pop over for a cuppa so the kitchen door would of been closed and the fire would of really gotten a grip before the alarm in the hallway alerted her in bed.

But as I said, Lucky with the second set of Noble keys as there a bit charred but ok...... Anybody know how I go about getting a spare keyfob key and immobiliser fobby thing.
Matty.
