Gents
I have just had a remap by Trevor Jasper and the car seems much more responsive and huge amount more torque. However, giving it beans, at max boost I have been getting a huge whoosh as if loosing all turbo power. What could cause this?
The guage says 1bar foot to the floor at 6KRPM.
So could it be a dodgy spring in my dump or a waste gate issue?

Nothing has come adrift all pipes etc in place and drives fine normally. Just at max boost!

Where are your filters ??

If you suspect the dump valve then remove it and blank off the hose and try without it

Air filters are at the intercooler.
I will blank off the dump as I think this is probably the culprit.

Sounds like a good starting point if all the hoses are secured with strong clips, and there are no splits along the hoses anywhere.

maybe not strong enough spring in your dump valve?

Would blowing the spark out result in a whooshing sound ?

It does sound like the dump is giving way.
I will pull it apart and tighten the spring. Can't do any harm.

It has just been on a RR and given a good once over. It did behave quite well. However it is hard to replicate road use on RR. It is on foot to the floor accel that this has happened, so not the relatively gently accel on the RR.

Fair call Gadge just suprised that the OP would hear that with the I/C mounted air filters on the road.
