Managed to get a few things sorted on car yesterday.
Bolted on new oil cooler behind drivers intake.
Put in oil take off and bolted on remote oil filter to frame below baulkhead air filter.
Think this is a great mod to do as its going to be so easy to change filter and oil now.
Did not get much of a feedback to my earlier post about the mod so i assume that not many nobs have done it
Well worth thinking about it
Will post some pics a.s.a.p

Will take pics of mod on monday as car is in garage, will ask lee for part numbers ie
take off plate, hose, fittings and filter as this is different to original
This will be for cars like mine that originalyhave no oil cooler, not sure nobles with cooler as they
have got take off plate already and if cooler is in the front you could put remote filter there,
Hope that makes sense.

Looking at your photos of how you have mounted the cooler & as my car is coming up for an oil change just had me thinking, on my car M400 the oil cooler in the side pod is mounted with the inlet and outlet at the top so unless you strip the unit out and tip it upside down its always will have old oil in it & you only replace the oil in the sump, that can't be right should the factory not mounted the oil cooler at 90 degrees to how it is now, anyone else modded this?
