Well the sun was out , so decided to take the noble out in the afternoon . Had a few beers the night before so i thought i would just go for a gentle drive . I usually go down the A40 but decided to go around town this time . I couldn't believe the reactions, loads of people were staring , pointing stopping , taking pics , kids were going mad . I passed a pub and loads of people outside drinking ( most of them were p****d ) and their heads just all turned and some cheered and whistled .
Stopped to get a coke got back to the car and it was surrounded by tourists , i thought what the ***k is going on ! Headed down the kings road and it was manic....
God knows what would happen if there was a convoy ....
When I got back i needed another beer after all that biglaugh

I did similar yesterday, went to see the M600 at Pete Smith sports cars (again) and then had a blast through Matlock Derbyshire.

Pulled over for a cup of tea and the car was surrounded in seconds, I love it.

Humm maybe I am half asleep when I drive round town?

But I don't really notice it to be honest. Certainly never had a crowd around my car.

Pulled into the Macy-d's near Marsh Barton to use their facilities yesterday evening and there must have been some "cruise" meet type thing going on, loads of pimped, or as we used to call them "Keved" cars. When I came out my car was surrounded by these lads and ladettes. Was good to have a quick chat, normal stuff, how fast? what speed have you had out of it?? bhp?? etc etc, then they wanted me to do some doughnuts, after just fitting new rear boots.......I don't think so spin
P.S they all new what it was, one asked if I had brought it from the Ph classifieds section on a cat D as he had seen one there really cheap cheaky sod smile and I had by best shirt on!!!

Surely you don't take your Noble out on salted roads? - From the photo you obviously do. Unless you have exceptional anti corrosion protection in place, you will have problems in the future IMHO.

Just as a PS - see the thread on RUST, this forum. Quite worrying really.

The less cars that are left in the long term - then the more those that are left will be worth. So, those that want to keep driving on the salty roads - please continue.
