Starter Motor All these P/N's work. (2.5 V6)

93BB-11000-KA THIS ONE IS NOW FITTED (FROM JAGUAR)

As Andy commented on the earlier thread you need to make sure that the solenoid of the replacement s/m is exactly the same length as the one coming off the car. You do not want the terminals to be shorting out on the fuel tank
Replacing the starter motor is a bit of a fiddle, but can be done without having to remove anything else off the car.

Thanks for that, I have ordered one as well. Now just to get the old one off !RobP - Alternator does seem to be charging and the car has been on charge for 24 hrs and still not even an attempt to turn over when trying to start it. So i'm guessing the starter motor is the culprit.

Thanks for that...I'll give it a try and if I get stuck I'll come begging for help !Is going in from underneath the easiest way then ? I guess this involves removing some of the panels under the engine ?
I was going to try through the rear wheel arch, but maybe underneath is easier.
