wobbly window wipers...

Got caught in the rain yesterday, and some how my window wipers have touched whilst on intermediate causing them to flop all over the show. switched them off straight away, now they look out of place. (the driver side one is almost touching the other when stationary. I have'nt managed to open up the car to have a look but im guessing its the bar or a setting thats slipped.

any suggestions or what to look out for?

The arm has probably twisted on the pivot.
Just undo the nut, put the arm in the correct rest position and re tighten the nut.

I had 2 break at the base so check them carefully... the mechanism is held to the chassis with self tappers and so the whole thing can come loose. I bolted mine thro the chassis.
