Dimming lights

I have a GTO3 and when on tick over and the fans cut in, the head lights dim. I believe this is a common issue and hope someone has a solution.
I believe it is feed or negative cable resistance, but am hopeing someone can tell me which cable I should be replacing or doubling up. Also, if it's a component with a part number, all the better.

My car never used to do this, I replaced the engine and battery earths, I (along with others) find the lights pulsate on tickover.

I have found that, but although it states a part number it does not state where from or who. It may also just be a cable spec. It's very hard to say.
I have had an email from the author and it was copied into the thread and he does not know the source.

Here is the thread, so if anyone can shine some light on the part number, that would be great.

'The probable cause is an extremely high resistance in the battery wiring harness from the central junction box (under the bonnet) to the B+ terminal on the alternator. To rectify the concern an additional cable should be installed.

I just ran a decent gauge wire from the the alternator output to the bus bar on the rear of the fuse box in the front passenger footwell.
Flickering has gone.
