the 5 speeds differ a huge amount and noble suitable ones are rare, or certainly were when I had a 5 speeder.
better to buy Tuxmans or upgrade to the 6 speed, if you do decide to go to the 6 speed I can give you a list of the things you will need, biggest item is a clutch and starter.

The six speed boxes have better availability but it's no small job to convert. Box, LSD, starter motor, gear linkages, fuel tank etc etc.better to buy Tuxmans or upgrade to the 6 speed, if you do decide to go to the 6 speed I can give you a list of the things you will need, biggest item is a clutch and starter.
A cheaper alternative is to send your box to competition transmissions aka the Gearboxman who can rebuild, strengthen and have the gearsets shot peened so you can run more power, reliably through it.
With regards part nos for the MTX75, there are many so make sure you source the correct one - Ford MTX75 Part Number 1206944. This is now obsolete and the replacement P/No 1232410 is also so you won't be able to source them from Ford.

its not cheap to convert, but doesnt have to cost the earth... incldenatlly the fuel tank doesnt need changing if you get the correct starter, you will need to modify a wishbone, get new engine mounts and reposition your exhaust on top of buying the box, clutch, starter, gear linkage, lsd.having done it Id say its around 1.5k extra over reconditioning a non lsd 5 speeder if you do the work yourself.
