Heel n toe?

The only thing I don't like about the Noble, is the throttle is way too high to heel n toe, ( well mine is). Have any of you guys changed the setup of pedals?

Without making some major changed you wont get an adjustable pedal box in a Noble, most people use a scaffold pole to adjust the pedals you have.

mine were exactly like that before i put the car in for the rebuild. the brakes are all totally new so if its still the same when i get it back next week i plan to fit some pedal covers and put a spacer under the brake one to lift it higher.

Solved the problem for me and still gives full openning of the throttle mechanism.

My pedal is only just a tad higher than my break pedal just use the side of ur foot its just as quick.

Thanks for the input, seems ther could be some variation on the throttle setup, I think I need to have a look at another Noble,( before I do any mods) as there is no way you can heel n toe, the brake is about two inches lower, the side of my foot is well below the throttle when braking, also the throttle pedal has an inch of side movement is this normal? Any Nobles in the Peterborough or Bedford area ?

Hi Swampy , pop over and have a look at mine , i had the same issue with the throttle pedal , think it was a easy job to fix , come over in car will have a look . Tux

Must get this done to the "new" one

Last time I had the factory pedal mod done on mine....

Lee took the pedal off.
Put it in a vice.
Bent it.
Put it back on.

Perfect.

Anyone know who'd like to do it for me now?

only problem with bending the pedal is wether you can still get full throttle !!

Nick - pretty sure we can bend it shilst its still in place - i will plug the laptop in so we can see if you have got full throttle whilst we do it

Mine was the same as yours so would be very interested to know if Tux sorts you out as it is one of the first things i am looking at when i get my car back.

Mine were adjusted at the factory before delivery - they gave me a choice of positions.

AFAIR, pedals are the same. I don't recall there being any adjustment in the floor so wouldn't be surprised if they just bent them Heath-Robinson stylee - it did work though
