2.5 with 346BHP
Discussion
HI,
Just had my 2.5 tuned by Mike Gurney (aka Gadgeroonie) & Gary from North London Rolling Road (as was) after i felt it was abit flat atfer laying up for winter.
1st run 306.3bhp (not bad for a fairly standard car)
after abit of fettling & correct re gapping of the plugs, + adjustment to air/fuel ratio, we recorded:
345.8BHP & 370lb/ft Torque.
The car is much smoother to drive & really gets down the road now.
On a drive home today, i had a good 4th gear acceleration run behind a 997 C4S (who was moving well listening too it)& covered the ground so much quicker, i had to ease off or I would be in his engine bay!!
Thanks Gadge & Gary, top work!!
I'll try to post the RR graphs.
Next stop, uprated radiator & intercooler, then an exhaust & 3.0 turbos!!

Bondy, the exhaust is the standard discreet one, which I will replace with a ss one at some point (more to get rid of the booming rather than outright power)
I'm guessing with the strengthened bottom end, the engine should be able to take the extra pressure.
Looking forward to seeing what u can get from yours.

Yep, changing the exhuast will help and already having the bottom end done means you should be fin. Wouldn't try and run more than 1.2bar if I were you.I'm guessing with the strengthened bottom end, the engine should be able to take the extra pressure.

Jay, for a standard 2.5 it goes very very well. There is probably 365/375 in it if you want me to get the laptop to work. However if you decide on a pair of 3.0 turbo's i'm sure it will go nearer 400 hp (my own 3.0 turbo's might be up for grabs soon !)
Urb - I'm sure i can map yours no problem. What dyno's do you have in your neck of the woods ?
I have customers in Greece Istanbul and Turkey. Do you know of DA Motorsport in Turkey ?
