Difference driving wise between a 2.5 and 3l.

I was just wondering what the difference is in power/feeling between the 2.5 and the 3l.

Obv with me being from Northern Ireland I have never really had the chance to meet up with people who own nobles so have only ever been in my own.

I have a 2.5, I am in limbo on potentially selling it for now, and then buying a 3r or M400 in a few years time. I have put alot of hard work and effort into getting my little 2.5 back on the road after my rainy day incident and feel attached to it alittle.

I know that if you have a 3r you can upgrade easier to get the high powers, so more just looking to know what people’s opinions are on the power increase and drive of the 6speed gearbox is on the 3r compared to the 2.5 please.

Surpose moreless what i am asking is, is it worth going 2-3years with no Noble, but then own a 3r or M400, or just stick with my 2.5?

the 2.5 has a more revvy feel to it than the std 3.0 - the 3.0 comes on boost stronger and fades away as the rev rise

both can be tuned harder

once you get used to the 3.0 punch of torque you won't want to go back

Is there noticable difference in power? IE, does the 3l feel quicker/more enjoyable to drive?

Had both, have the 2.5 now.
Gadge is right the 3.0 torque is addictive.
But they're both great and if you never drove a 3.0 you'd be pleased with your 2.5 for ever.
