Headlight covers

Has anyone configured a fool proof and neat way of fitting the headlight covers, Tux your car looks great are you satisfied with the fit and finish of the covers ? They look very neat from the photos would like to fit them to my GTO 3 if not too much hassle. Thanks

What would be the cost of fitting 3R lights I wonder ?

Am I right in thinking that the clam is the same on the 3 and 3R, but the 3R was cut out to fit the lights ? If that's the, a decent body shop should be able to do that I would have thought.

Hi Haydn , yep very pleased with them although ive not tested them at high speed yet to make sure they stay put !!!

I do think they are well worth fitting as they make a big difference to the way the car looks and im hoping for improved aero over the front clip just not sure on the best way to fit them !!

Either Peter Smith or SWLC have the 3R light housings listed on their site. All you do is cut the clam to fit them & paint, then buy all the light units/bulbs and then bond on the covers.

i priced the job up ...................its alot of dosh !!!! better to find a second hand 3R clip than do the mod thats why fitting the lens covers is the most sensible way to go .

I had rather grasped what was involved. I was asking as to the price, but now I've looked on the PS website, say £1000 for the bits and then labour on top. So I'll not bother at that then. But the new engine on the PS site at £0.00 looks like a good deal.
