Rota Grid Drift wheels

As I'm still looking to replace the wheels on my 3R with something I actually like. I have been in touch with the chaps at Rare Rims who will be able to supply Rota Grid Drift wheels to fit our cars.
I tried to set up a group buy on the GTRs last year but there were too many obsticles in the way. However, with the Grid Drift wheel they already stock the sizes required so all they would need to change are the offsets and bolt patterns.
As before, the colours available are those listed on the www.rarerims.co.uk site, prices & weights to follow but if you would be interested please put your name down here. They need 10 people interested before they tool up for the run.

No the quoted prices are for a set of 4, that's why they're good value and why I was really trying to get something sorted last year. I figured at those prices, people could go for a set for track and a set for road if they wanted to. Or even a summer & winter set. Also once we get the numbers and they are prepared to make them, spares will then be easily purchased down the line if a mishap were to happen.J
As I said, prices and weights will follow but if you look at my old thread:

expect them both to be similar.
At 600-700 a set I could well be interested.
On the 18/19 debate from your previous thread,
265/30R19s are within 0.2% of 265/35R18s
225/35R19s are within 0.5% of 225/35R18s
and as such you could go up a size/down a ratio and not affect things too much.
The only issue is that 265/30R19s rather limit your choice of tyre (Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta and Federal SS-595s are the only tyres under £200 a corner - Dunlop/Bridgestone/Toyo/Pirelli are all well over £250 a tyre)

225/35R19s are within 0.5% of 225/35R18s
and as such you could go up a size/down a ratio and not affect things too much.
The only issue is that 265/30R19s rather limit your choice of tyre (Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta and Federal SS-595s are the only tyres under £200 a corner - Dunlop/Bridgestone/Toyo/Pirelli are all well over £250 a tyre)

If you could let us know the exact price and wheel weights that would be great. Also I have been told that the different look of the wheels front/rear is not an issue on this style of wheel, can you confirm that and maybe show us some pictures to be certain.

The difference in look front and rear is a factor of width. There is not enough wheel in an 8" or 8.5" wheel to allow for a concave face. A 9" or 9.5" wheel will be concave.
With the Grids the difference is not so pronounced, as both have a slight curve to the spokes, as below:
Front:
Rear:
In terms of weight, it will be a little different to the ones we have here, as the offset has an effect, but essentially you'll be looking at just under 9kg for 8.5 and just over 9kg for the 9.5.
These are real world actual weights, I must stress that, as many other wheels are advertised with weights which are somewhat optimistic, to put it diplomatically!
Pricing would vary depending on numbers, and I am sure PH wouldn't want me to start trading on here, but without a decent sized order we'd be looking at prices close to those on our site (which lists prices in 4s, not singles), with an order for 10 sets we could be looking at a healthy discount to get the ball rolling, perhaps as much as 15-20%.
