Exhaust Tip Choices!
Discussion
Hey guys,
I'm looking for some sexy new exhaust tips. The search criteria are as follows:
-Must fit within the standard space available
-Must be weld attachable
Ovals, round, 2x2 are all welcome, really looking for some that 'fit' the car aesthetically, and having searched around online with my limited knowledge of suppliers I have yet to find anything to get excited about.
These are for an exciting new exhaust project which is already finished. Once exhaust tips are chosen and fitted I'll post a video with coverage of the entire project. This could be an *ideal* choice for those looking for a new system.
Hope everyone is cramming plenty of pancakes today.

If they ever get the race car finished it will be unbeatable, mine however is going to be like a milk float.

Is there any technical reason why you need to have someone sat on your rear ofside wheel while you remove the exhaust?worty
The car is black, and in fact even blacker than this now (wing supports and mirror supports are now black too, thanks to the Jetstream boys).
Does anyone know of any good looking blackish exhaust tips?
The Reventon has some badass ones:
You can read about the process for that effect here: http://germancarscene.com/2008/06/18/lamborghini-r...
I really like the look of that car with the rims, very classy, but try and keep it on that scheme, a little bit a shiny metal compliments the blackness of the car imo.
If you car is black and the exhaust tips are black then i would really not worry too much what they are going to look like because nobody will even notice them.

Lmao, i dont know why but i found that video very funny, its like a big build up but it just all leads to that bit of video at the end showing the wonky tailpipes and black smoke coming out everytime the engine was revved.Bless em, obviously really nice people, they clearly could not hide that how chuffed to bits they were with the finish

Lol, im sure somewhere in the middle of the vid it shows a tight bend made up out of two pieces welded together to form a kink

I agree with Chris. The black tips will just disappear but if you could get those in chrome they'd look the dogs dodars.
What you do need is some bigger wing end plates of the type Tux is getting sorted in CF.
I think the higher original wing just looks a bit puny with the original end plates and needs beefing up a bit.
Having my bigger black wing pylons fitted and black mirror support done by Jetstream and for all those worried I'm keeping the stripes

any excuse to post a pic of your car eh Tuxman... good work keep it up
Invicta... the guy who does my exhausts etc can pretty much make whatever tips you want to fit your car.... I however thought for ages about tips like the lambo and ones you posted above and decided they wouldn't look right on my car.
it is a personal thing though

Hey guys, I have some better(ish) pics of these now... and some dimensions.
My car is up at Jetstream this week... and so I cant measure the size of the gap available for the exhaust tips... Does anyone know this size, or might be up for measuring theirs
?
I suspect they might be on the big size...
The chrome / dark chrome ones:
Length – 5 1/2 inches
Width – 5 inches
Height - 3 inches
The quad pipes:
Length – 7.5 inches
Width – 8 inches
Height – 3.5 inches
