Anybody seen this rear clam before?

It appears to have a different rear clam but the video is so short its hard to tell.

It seems to have vents into the rear wheel arches from above and vents into the inner sides of the buttresses between clam and roof section?

looks like its LHD so it must be in usa or SA

It's a Rossion Q1 rear clam with separate lights rather than the final units.



That would therefore be their development M400 at a guess.

Yes I think you're right Joust, interesting that it fits. Maybe the final product isn't that different after all for those who are looking for something different?

Looks like the "Cassin cool clam" to me, which was done by one of the guys in the States.

Hi Dave, hope all is well. Will you be in the Teg or the Lancer? Either way, i'll be sure to bring the pom pom's for you guys. Oh, and i am moving back to Bath soon so hopefully will be able to make it to some of those club nights....but sadly, the "Silver Bullet" will not be competing this year. My brother now has it the lucky sod....even gave him the roof rack

I realise i have seen puics of this cool clam before but it looked slightly different on that vid.
I think it has some good ideas but is just terrible to look at, i really think what they were trying to achieve would have looked something like Andy's V12, but they seem to be well behind.
The rear lights clusters i like the idea of, the middle meshed section and raised lower lip seems to work well and has purpose, but it just needed putting together and shaping differently.
I do think there may be a market for an alternative rear clam for these cars which has, similar light clusters and all cooling modifications included.

I guess the issue there is that it is very subjective what you like and don't like, and if you are going to produce copies rather than do one-offs then you'd have to be sure that there was a market for it.

I have 2 rear clips and I have been wondering if I do my mods to both of them or sell one as a totally standard clip.

currently I am considering changing the lights... remember I am taking moulds of my mods so that I can do them properly so it would be possible to make the changes to another std clip.
