It's probably an age thing but it may well be some time before I do the 24Hrs again. Having been to the Classic last year, I think that's where I'll stick to in the future. I get just as rat arsed but with 'nicer' folk and get to have a good shufty around the old cars in the paddocks . Access to / from the circuit is better, movemement around the circuit is easier. The hilarious antics of the chavs and assorted half-wits have worn me down.
Im going... as it Tuxman, we go with the Ultima clan and camp around 5k's from the track in a very nice place with a pool, hot showers. proper not crowded bar and 100's of other like minded people.
and by like minded i mean people who like to be clean, have cold beer and wouldn't be seen dead camping on the track due to the stupid antics that go on.

A group of us used to go every year staying at Team Langoustine which is very well set up and well located, but have decided to give it a miss due to cost, the vast array of muppets and the general facilities. The Classic was awesome last year, you can get up close to the cars and drivers and it's a whole better experience than the 24hr IMO. If i were to go again i'd stay outside in a hotel and suffer transport grief getting in and out rather than camp as generally the showers and toilets at the campsites and racecourse are an absolute bl00dy disgrace.
