Anyone know/own Blue 3R 4 sale @ Plans?
Discussion
Just wondering if anyone's still on here that owns the blue 3R currently for sale at Plans (in the classified on here).
Supposedly from the Isle of Wight (just over the water from me).
Gonna give Plans a call about it tomorrow, but if anyone knows the car or owns it and has any info I'd like to hear from you.
Fingers crossed everything is good and I'll be a Noble owner in a week or so!!
Cheers, Scott.

Please don't help him as one is enough in our work car park. lol
Only joking, bout time you got one as it was you that made me get mine all those years ago
Quite strage that 3 employees from one company would have Nobles, Me, Scott and Steve (daddy). Does this mean they are becoming company cars. lol

Hi guys I own the the Noble that Plans have for sale.
They are selling it for me as I am out of the country working and won't be back for atleast a year hence the reason why I selling my much loved Noble.
The car has had a very easy life doing most of its miles on the Isle Of Wight and if you have ever been there you will understand you struggle to get over 30mph so certainly not been thrashed around.
Only reason I am selling the car is because I have found myself working away otherwise I would be keeping it.
The reason for me upgrading exhaust and retune was due to the fact the original Noble exhaust was blowing and brackets where shot so upgraded to the best I could get and Trevor offered me a good deal on the retune as I had ordered the exhaust threw him.
Plansmotorsport have serviced the car for me since I have had it and know the car is in very good condition hence the fact they have offered to sell the car with a 12 warranty for me.
Any more details needed just give me a shout on here Thanks
Jerrie

Hi Bondy , just a concern , its had a power increase over std and at 42000 miles the box could have had a hard life !!!. make sure when you test drive you load the clutch well its making 386lbft of torque and std clutch is only good for 420lbft ish , if its worn it will slip !!
I totally agree Simon, i got mine reconditioned at 15k with new clutch and it needed it,3 syncs were shot, 2nd hub was close to destruction, clutch had a chunk missing and release bearing had a big groove scored into it. My only regret is that i did not upgrade the clutch while i had the chance.TuxMan said:

My clutch was worn badly but it never slipped. Running 390lbs.Well I have brought said car so I hope everything goes smoothly with the gearbox. When i test drove it everything felt fine, but as i had never driven one until then i would know what felt right or not i guess. It does come with a warrenty so that does ease some fears.
I take delivery next week and neddless to say i will drive it to death for a while so hopefully i will spot any problems then.
