New Carbon end plates
Discussion
Well Chappers will love these finally got the new "Tuxman racing " carbon end plates , very pleased with the end results !! If I can sell 5 sets they are £150 ,they are designed to improve the air flow over the rear wing ends and the kick up gives a bit more downforce , Lee Noble used a design very similar on his race car !! they weigh 160 grams which is a massive saving over the STD ones . Hey Tuxman, is it possible to see some pics with them fitted?
D
Question for you tux, I have the carbon end plates that Alex S had made about 18 months ago, same size as yours but flat. Do you think it's possible to heat and bend the tips inwards as yours appear to be or must they be layed that way to start with? Also does the tips pointing inwards benefit aero or purely aesthetics?
Cheers

Carbon fibre uses an epoxy thermosetting resin rather than a thermoplastic one which means you can`t soften it with heat and bend it.Cheers

yes mate !! don,t tell Chappers

Did you do it yourself ?

I'm thinking the end plates may not look their best without doing the rest of the spoiler in carbon effect.
Could just polish up the existing one or have it relaquered or something.
