couple of questions...

Was yours standard when it chewed through the diff? I thought we'd reached to conclusion that standard ones hadn't done that.

Do the MBE ECUs ever "fail"? or were you talking about the original original ECU to MBE upgrade?

Just wanted a couple of extra reasons to lay awake tonight ¬_¬ hehe

Was only running 280bhp when I blew the diff. It went round a roundabout and the classis wheel slip must of happened. It actually finaly gave up the ghost as I did a quick flick into a gap between parked cars to allow a on coming car to get past, as I did this I herd the clunk. Car had only 13k on the clock

My ECU was a MM which just go out of cal and can't be mapped (or so I was told). MBE's are fine

Ah that's good to know. Mine's just ticked past the 34,000 mile mark. boxedin Who had it before you? Maybe they didn't have much mechanical sympathy? I'm pretty prepared financially for the diff to go though, it's just when and where!
