Helmet

I'm just about to get myself a helmet. Dropped down to my local motorbike store and tried a few while sat in the car (being tall is not conjusive to driving sports cars!!!) I'm not planning any competitive racing, just a few track days etc. Some of their hemets have a gold sticker meaning they are ok for bike racing, do I need any such sticker/lable for track days etc??

you can wear any type of helmet for trackdays.

for car racing you will need an MSA approved one but you can buy any motorcycle one. you may be better off looking at an open face helmet (like the rally driver ones)

Thanks for the helpful info James, will be going for the open face, found it much easier in the car than the full face type. Off to puchase one today!!

Just to update, went with a Bell open face helmet, great value at £150, complete with retro carry bag
