Lack of power

Took my car out today... it had 1/4 tank fuel in but when i put my foot down there was a lack of power!! filled up and seems to be ok... anyone else had this happen?

There can be lots of things that can cause lack of power, overheating, fuel evaporation, poor fuel flow caused by faulty ARV, multiple misfires due to bad sparks/gaps or bad fuel, or could even have experienced fuel starvation if it felt like the engine died.

When you get fuel starvation the power literally cuts out, rather abruptly and does not feel good, you know something went badly wrong in the engine and it does damage the engine.
I experienced fuel starvation a few times while i had a faulty ARV recently, see link below:

how much boost is it running ?

Its standard so would it be 0.5 bar?

its was a very hot day...where is the ARV located and i will get a replacement and see if this helps. I have been told not to run the car low on fuel.

a standard car is supposed to run 0.7 bar
