I’m so glad I managed to read your in-depth analysis and opinion. Oh wait, you just want to stir the hive.

It was down for around 2 hours, hardly the end of the world. I’ve had DAYS worth of outages on the WeConnect app for the wife’s VW Passat PHEV.

This outage wouldn’t have affected home charging or even public charging on non-Tesla chargers. Supercharges I’ve no idea if they require the same infrastructure to be online in order to initiate a charging session.

Remember back when we had to queue for hours to get petrol, with many petrol stations running out of fuel entirely on a daily basis?

Just for balance.

Not sure the relevance of Balance. The issue here is of bad software and beta software that we risk out lives with. Luckily this was just annoying.

The article says people had problems charging on public chargers but I don't understand how. I don't use the Tesla app for anything to connect to a charger?

Maybe they tried opening the charge flap from the app instead of in the car or something but that's not a massive issue.

I couldn’t tell if the car had finished charging from my desk. I had to pop out to the car park.

Oh the huge manatee.

Bit of a hijack to ask, are there are any common problems worth proactively investigating in advance of 4 year warranty expiring on model 3 in next few months?
