Model S with big mileage, worth a risk?
Discussion
It's going to be like any other high mileage car with potential suspension, seat, seals, drive shafts, brakes, electrical gremlins, lights failing including the daylight running lights, etc etc.
You don't say how old it is, but if its pre the 2016 update (ie the ones with the oval front) then the headlights were dreadful as they came with xenon but but wash so the bulbs had to be low wattage, and the door handles were a notable failure,
If it's later, then there are still a range of issues.
Don't forget the car is designed by a car company that had been going for only a few years and with a desire to reinvent the wheel and as such, there are plenty of areas where they had no depth of experience or history, nor manufacturing experience. It took them until 2020 to really start to understand what it takes to design and buld a half decent and reliable car.
If you're very handy at fixing stuff yourself then maybe give it a go, but financially it could easily get very costly.
