Tesla SIM card !!

Has anyone got one of these ? I purchased one 2 years ago and gave it to a friend in spain he uses it for YouTube / films and to access his cameras , it 4g and usually tags on to EE networks so unlimited data !
We tried all sorts of routers but only the pocket ones work . Not bad really as it's paid for itself after 4 months!
No then I brought another one and it worked for a month now nothing !!
Has anyone else tried them and what are your thoughts ?
Ideal for the travelling person ?
