Few threads on the topic.

The LC500 V8s are last of a dying breed NA engines.
They are holding their values strong and since model is discontinued, prices are slightly creeping up.

This very car was sold last year by same dealer for £46k with 42k miles. It is now for sale a year older with 46k miles for £50k.

And it is the cheapest V8 for sale on AT.

I was thinking of buying one a few years ago.
Luckily a friend of mine knew the owner of the only one in North Scotland and he came to let me see it.
Very unusual looking car, lovely sounding engine.
Lexus reliability and reasonable service costs (£600 a year was mentioned, but that was 5 or 6 years ago).
Things to remember-
They are big, a lot bigger than I expected.
Check insurance costs - I think he said the doors are £6000 each.

I went to look at one a couple of years back, seeing it in the metal vs pictures there is no comparison...its stunning up close.

If I had the space one of these would be sitting in the garage.

Just out of interest (in case I wanted to go look at one again), I did an insurance costs check for one.
Most of the main companies were around the £1000 mark with £1000 excess (there was one at £600 with £4000 excess).
For comparison, I'm currently paying £400 for my Yaris GR4 with a £250 excess

Had mine three years, I’d normally be getting itchy feet by now but I’ve no plans to change it - there’s nothing else I’d swap it for. Shrinking it by 10-20% and making it a good bit lighter would make it even better.

Wouldn't shrinking it lose its road presence ?
