Looks like there are going to be a few more dealers in 2022.

That brings the total to 11. Interesting that Japan has 14. (France, not surprizingly has most - 22)

Some competition in the North West should be healthy, my first experience of Manchester this week was very average.

Currently polishing out pretty bad scuffs from my wing and I also need to remove the scuttle to dig out my charging lead that they have kindly covered up for me.

Not sure what is going on, Ian the technician is excellent, I can’t believe it’s him that’s done the work ?

This is the main concern I have with my impending Alpine ownership. I have a feeling that other for warranty work I'll be taking my car to my Lotus specialist

I know you are legally entitled to use another garage for maintenance but my limited experience of Alpine warranty work is not great- I’d expect you to struggle to get them to do anything if you’ve used someone else for maintenance.

My windscreen wiper end cap came off and was lost during use and Alpine wanted £250+ for a replacement during the warranty period. I’d expect a £250 wiper to last a bit longer…

I’ve just had the rear screen rejected for a warranty claim - it took them two weeks to reject it- they really don’t give two hoots once you’ve bought the car.

I’m waiting to hear about a paint issue they failed to remedy when it was in for the wheelarch corrosion- paint has worn through to undercoat around the rear screen bolts and in the channel-

I was going to get a map but I think the only thing the warranty is likely to cover is the drivetrain so I’ve put that on hold for the remainder of the warranty.

I always make sure Ian does any work on mine who I,ve also found excellent and very careful, when I was last there Oct. though he was training another tech. for Alpine servicing, had the plastic scuttle replaced on mine under warranty as was slightly warped on one clip, replacement the same though.

I agree he’s excellent, they’ve looked after three Renaultsport’s of mine really well over the years so I’m hoping this was a blip. I know Ian in sales so have left a message with him to discuss with the service manager.

Hi Simon

Your suspicion was correct it wasn’t me who worked on your car.
I asked Ian D to point this out in his email reply to yourself.
Whenever you book in ask for me or Ashley to work on your car and it will be looked after.
Sorry to hear about the damage to the paintwork and I can only apologise for the way your car was treated whilst it was in with ourselves.
