I have started getting bubbling under the paintwork around the wheel arches and some in the rear, underneath the boot lid, which I understand is fairly common based on the Alpine forums.
Having taken it into West London for them to look it over, they have agreed its going to be covered by the paintwork warranty and is now booked in with the body shop next month to get this done.
They have said that its very difficult to blend with the Alpine Blue paint so they are looking at painting the whole panel then blending.
Has anyone had this done and how the outcome was like?

Mine was done by West London and though they took a long time over it - and had problems on the way - the result was fine. That was some time back so hopefully they have got the process more streamlined by now.

Whilst mine was in for a service last month the technician noticed that both my rear wheel arches were starting to show signs of bubbling which I hadn’t noticed. He arranged to book it in to fix along with the rear screen rubber and rattles in the doors, so it’s with Martins Winchester as I write this and I’m enjoying a Tulipe Noir Legende for a few days smile

Is anyone aware of this issue also affecting 'Atelier' hand-painted cars?

Not to date - there have been very occasional reports of different issues with Atelier colours, but none connected to that specific problem.

Worth noting that not all the Atelier shades are hand painted. But then I don’t have a list of which are/aren’t (and only know that Bleu de France is done in the automated spray booths!)
