No Engine Oil

Anyone else aware of the lack of engine oil for Alpine and Renault GT products?

Waiting to have the 1st service on my Alpine but was cancelled due to Alpine Shirley not having any engine oil in stock. Apparently it is on back order with Renault in France? This was nearly 3 weeks ago and still no word.

I have, but only due to a similar situation (first service, Shirley). If it helps this was late last week however, so presumably no change since you spoke to them.

AFAIK, Opie Oils have the correct spec Castrol Edge 0W40 in stock as I ordered some a couple of days ago. Maybe see if the dealer will do the oil change with you supplying the oil. Especially if they have none then I would have thought they were amenable to this.

Did follow up with that suggestion, but apparently the oil is back in - so worth chasing up that booking, OP. Hopefully they can jump on it quickly.

Yes, oil back in stock and car booked in for service!
