Opinions on Pilot Sport 5 on the A110 (also brake pads?)

My A110's coming up on needing new rear tyres. Has anyone tried the PS5? The PS4 and PS5 are exactly the same price over here, so I'm considering trying out the newer rubber. Unfortunately my front tyres are still just fine, so perhaps having different tyres front and rear is a bad idea. We'll see.
I'm also in need of some new front brake pads. I'd be happy to hear any recommendations (or "avoid these"!).

Don't worry about mixing 4 and 5's front to back, I have done exactly the same, front tyres still good at 22,000 miles!
Can't say I noticed too much difference between the old and new tyre types.
The new 5's though look much better - nicer sidewalls - so you might want to change the fronts just for that reason.
