I don't have FB, but SWMBO pointed me at this:

"Alpine’s 70th Anniversary, Goodwood Members Meeting, Saturday 12 April 2025
Alpine will have a significant presence at this year’s Goodwood Members Meeting. It has been agreed with Goodwood that Alpine can run a track moment where there will be 70 Alpines driven by owners in a convoy formation. This can only happen if Alpine have the full 70 cars and drivers. Alpine will provide 1 event entry ticket per car.
The format is:
1. The track ‘moment’ will be at 9.00am on Saturday 12 April
2. Before the ‘moment’ all cars will be parked in the Lavant infield
3. All cars must be onsite and parked by 7.30am on Saturday 12 April (or arrive on Friday evening before 19.00.
4. The ‘moment’ will be one ‘out’ lap and one ’in’ lap with the cars having lined up at the start line for an Alpine photo opportunity. Cars will run in convoy formation
5. After completing the ‘moment’ the cars can either a) leave the circuit via gate 11 and go the main parking areas or b) return to the Lavant infield parking area but you would not be able to leave until racing has finished at approx.18.30
6. Drivers enter the event with the 1 entry ticket per car provided by Alpine
We fully understand that commitment is required without guarantee until numbers are met but this is a great opportunity to be involved in Alpine’s 70th anniversary celebrations at the Members Meeting and this historic circuit.
Both heritage and current cars are welcome.
If you are genuinely interested please contact Laura Brighton, Senior Events manager, Communications at alpine.events.uk@alpinecars.com. "
We were going on Saturday anyway so have offered our car. Could be really memorable if we can get 70 folk signed up.

I had the email today saying that I and my Alpine Blue A110GT had been accepted in the 70 cars for "The Moment", not sure how I managed that although I did apply very early when Club Alpine Renault first advertised it to their members.
There are 2 complications, you need to have a Clubman RS motorsport license (free) which I have just renewed having had one a few years ago and we have to attend drivers signing on on the Friday afternoon which turns it into an overnighter instead of an early start Saturday.
I am still going to go but wonder how many of the initial 70 will find the Friday afternoon an issue so would expect a few on the reserve list to get a call.
I've done parade laps before at circuits without the above so not sure why required here, maybe another new MSA initiative to make any sort of fun with cars more difficult!

Agree with the 2 previous posts, the Friday afternoon sign on should have been made clear from the start and saved wasting people's time that couldn't comply.
And I have seen comments on FB that Alpine and Goodwood are looking at working round it, either an online or an early Saturday morning sign on should be doable.
Alpine are a young and small company, presumably with an inexperienced events team but I assume a Porsche or similar event would be much better planned!
Luckily I can go anyway, a Friday afternoon at the track without spectators but with the race teams setting up and maybe even testing sounds like fun.

I've now got my tickets (yes 2 tickets, originally it was only going to be 1 per car) and looking forward to the day.
Still undecided about signing on Friday afternoon, having a leisurely look around Goodwood without any spectators, staying locally before the "Moment" on Saturday morning or making a very early start on Saturday.
Currently leaning towards the first option.
Is anyone else staying locally on the Friday night?

Does anyone know where the "Alpine parking" is? We didn't get parade tickets, but have entry and the parking option. We also had previously bought Lavant bank parking. While it would be nice to park with fellow owners, we don't really want to get stuck all day if (as suggested in the original invite) the Alpine parking means you can't leave until 6pm.
