Life 110 paddles.
Discussion
Got these a few days ago but put off fitting until today as anything involving unclipping plastic panels in a car, especially such a nice one and not 2 years old, fills me with dread.
It was quicker and far easier than changing the engine cover bolts a few nights ago
Followed Mr Pook's video on YouTube and the panels are well designed for being taken apart and clipping back again.
The new paddles make me want to drive in manual all the time as they are far more tactile and perfectly placed to use.
Pics of them in place.

Interesting to find that the OEM paddles are the same that are fitted to the 2013 Clio RS

I am wondering whether the nice Life-paddels are a bit close to the steering wheel.
Dont your fingers come in touch with the paddels when cornering?
Thanks!
I thought the same, but they fit fantastically. Really lift the shift experience and you aren’t left reaching awkwardly with some lock on!Dont your fingers come in touch with the paddels when cornering?
Thanks!
No idea, they were there when I bought it

king ridiculous what you are supposed to declare to insurance companies and then be subject to more ridiculous charges.
I had a Mustang GT in 2016, insurance was an amazing £300 a year fully comp. There were a few Ford extras including a black stripe from bonnet to boot across the roof.
Called my insurance company and they wanted to double my premium thanks to this performance enhancing modification.
So I didn't go ahead. Seems the insurance company thought that the stripes would turn a then 54 year old balding man into a 23 year old boy racer, innit bruv.

After trying them today I find the V2 a bit flimsy feeling outside of the central point, just a little bit too much play. The V1 are the other way and a bit too thick. I think the V2 is an overall improvement but I'll still be sticking with V1 for now.
Aaron's version coming soon looks to be interesting with a closer to OEM look than any others I've seen, will keep an eye out...

I was playing with mine today, and the paddles....boom boom!
No play at all, solid at either end. V2.
And I thought they were pricey at £240 but the others from France, mentioned above, are over £500
They also have customised steering wheels starting at €1900 and you have to swap for your own wheel.
Royal Steering wheels will do a lovely job on your steering wheel for around £200.

I must admit after reading the criticism from Aaron on FB in regards to the play, when I had the chance to try the V2 I was paying extra attention to even the slightest wiggle room.No play at all, solid at either end. V2.
I do think the lightweight slender feel suits the car, however still on the fence about which paddles I would like to use long term. I find the OEM paddles have the most solid and satisfying 'click' to use, they are just too small.
