The answer is probably ‘different’, rather than better or worse.
I think the Emira is pitched between the Cayman and the 911.
Unfortunately it’s much heavier than the Alpine, which is unforgivable for a Lotus.

As Spud says very different. Think of it more a car with the fun factor of an MX5, but with far more refinement and practicality as an everyday car (more refined than either a Cayman or Emira too, though not as practical as a Cayman in particular) HPA video is right to point out the abysmal lack of interior storage as standard - but there are both Alpine and aftermarket bits which make things much more tolerable, if not great. The video is wrong about accommodating tall drivers - the car is exceptional in that regard. Gordon Murray has an A110 as his daily and he's 6' 4 and there are alternative adjustable seats for the broad in the beam. The buckets can be lowered for those merely tall - but it's a spanner job.
