There was a question in the main owners thread about suitable spare wheels for the A110 - having just experienced my first big puncture ever on a motorway with no hard shoulder at 7am on a Sunday I think putting a spare wheel in the shed would be a good idea. Has anyone found a suitable space saver for the A110, the various options that come up on Google don't inspire confidence that they will actually do the job?

Even if you do find a suitable spare, what do you plan to do with the wheel you take off?

This is more for local breakdowns where I can get someone to bring me the spare if needed so it can get me home/to somewhere of my choice, rather than having to wait hours for a tyre man to come and put a mismatched tyre on or recover to a local garage who will probably have to put a mismatched tyre on.

I'm pretty sure this will do the job, and there is an 18" available also.

Isnt that a scenario where the gubbins you get in the boot ( tyre repair and inflator) could be used? Unless you get full scale blow out I suppose

Sadly the tyre goo was useless in this scenario, it was a big hole.
