Not sure if any demo cars have been on show anywhere but I wondered if anyone had seen Peacock Blue in the metal?

It looks like a teal / bluey green in the press photos and non-metallic.

Yes, saw one at C&M (The Hut) during a meet up recently . Lends the car a 'sophisticated air'

Not sure sophisticated is on-brand for me biggrin

Did you happen to take any photos? Which model was it - I was told by my local AD that it was only available on the run-out A110s

And can you tell me if it is metallic?

Bleu Paon (peacock) is not a metallic colour. Bleu Sierra which is kind of similar to Paon is metallic.

Thank you!

How did it look in the metal?

From that photo it looks a little 'flat'

Its not bad at all, saw that one at le-mans in 2022 and one just before then at Alpine Solihull - it tends to disappear a bit, but I guess that could be considered stealthy

Interesting - the way Alpine are pushing it, I assumed (wrongly) that they had introduced it as a roll-out colour.

Strangely, I also had two Alpine dealers infer that they had added a few new colours for the final production run; hence assuming peacock blue was one of them scratchchin

It's an atelier colour. So Alpine will paint 110 this colour then stop

Absolutely - I understand that and my current A110 is an atelier colour.

What the two ADs inferred was that there were a couple of new atelier colours being introduced and I, wrongly, assumed Peacock Blue was one. However, it would seem that wasn't true and they haven't added any new colours for the run-out Pure, GTS and R.

When A110 GTS was announced in February 2025 Alpine said the following on their press release:

"With this version, the Atelier catalogue is expanding to include five new body colours. Bleu Paon (Peacock Blue) and Orange Acropolis (Acropolis Orange), two colours from the 'heritage' catalogue, as well as three new matt colours: Orange Solaire (Solar Orange), Bleu Eclipse (Eclipse Blue) and Gris Acier (Steel Grey)."

So they are kind of saying that those five colours would be new colours for A110 but I'm not sure if some of them are actually Atelier colours which had been available earlier and we're now reintroduced to A110.

Here's a 10-minute review of an A110 in Peacock Blue:

May give you a better sense. The creator makes a positive mention of the color (02m10s).

TBH, that info from Alpine UK sounds pretty disingenuous.

As I've learned on this thread Peacock Blue has been on offer as an 'Atelier colour' long before the launch of the final cars. Furthermore, the cost of it is the standard atelier 'heritage' rate of £4,675 - with the non-heritage options (matt) costing £6,300

So, I'm not sure what "Atelier catalogue is expanding" means because as far as I can tell from this thread, Peacock has always been an available colour and, if they follow their own rules, will only stop being offered after 110 people have paid for it!

Thank you! Very helpful. It looks, imho, to be one of those colours that comes alive in the right sunlight. I can see it working well in the South of France (or our current sunny spell) but on most UK weather days, I don't think it is for me.,

@Mr_Toad Funnily enough, I recently chanced upon a Peacock Blue in the flesh.

It was indoors in a relatively dark showroom, and I thought it looked fantastic! (But then again, I do love me some Carnelian Beige and Heather Pink!)

Here it is next to a couple of other blues. Peacock Blue on the right and Alpine Blue on bottom left. I think top left is the matte version of Peacock Blue (Eclipse Blue?), but not sure. Peacock Blue actually looks lighter than Alpine Blue? Definitely not what I expected based on configurator renders.

Colour is such a personal thing and I also like interesting colours; however, I wonder how much of the showroom lighting was lifting the Peacock car.

In the UK, our natural daylight has a blue tone, which tends to mute colours.

If you don't mind me asking, where was that?
