I have a 5 digit number plate and it looks a bit lost on a full size number plate, anybody fitted a reduced size plate and is it a real pain (asking to save me taking mine off to see) smile

There's a lot of cutting to get the front mount to suit a small plate

I have a small license plate too, and the dealer suggested removing the (black plastic) mount and using glue to stick it on to the "built-in" (molded, body-colored) mount underneath.

Works great. I'll need to use heat to remove the plate. They've done this on other cars and say the glue doesn't harm the paint. We shall see.

The poster doesn't say where these smaller mounts are available, but they're out there. Maybe ask on that forum?
