Anyone 'reserved' an A390?
Discussion
I have paid my (fully returnable) £390 for an early place in the queue for an A390 when it gets released in the the UK. Deliveries expected 2nd Quarter 2026 apparently.
I have a Kia EV6 that is over 3yrs old and has been great. Swift, comfortable, bit different and practical without being vast. We carry bikes in the boot and kayaks on the roof much more often than passengers.
No EV out there now, or in the pipeline has been tempting me as a replacement. Macan electric, too big, too many expensive 'extras' on the base model even if they would sell you that one. Polestar 3 stylish but too big, and I read too many reports of issues. BMW ix3 NC will be sold out for a year and too big agwin. The i3 NC will apparently have a Touring version, but not going to be available for ages.
The Alpine appeals. Stylish, sensible size, great reviews for the two models since the re-launch. All will depend on price (GT in France equates to about £59k) and of course a test drive but I am tempted.
Anyone else?

Not reserved, no, but very tempted to have an A390 in my garage alongside my A110. Last weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Marseille "Salon d'Auto" as a guest of Alpine, where they had an A390 GT on display. I'm not usually a fan of SUVs, but the A390 is a beautiful thing in the flesh, although the show car was fitted with 12k worth of extras, taking it to near 80k. Before committing, I will want to see the base GT with standard seats and 20 inch wheels, and of course have a drive. My dealer in Marseille will receive their demo cars mid December, so I'm looking forward to that.

Let us know what you think. Are you waiting for an RHD one if you order?
One question from me if you have a moment. Could you measure the length from the inside of the boot lip to the front seat back with the rears folded? The full load length in other words. I cannot find it anywhere online.
Have fun!
